of painting, Leonard was able to close his commercial design business and focus solely on painting. After just a few years of painting, he had worked his way to up to recognizable status as one of the leading American Impressionists.
Leonard hopes the art enthusiast looking at his work, escapes, if only for a moment, from the realities of life. A gentle, loosely painted pursuance of peaceful quite and calm is what he wishes the onlooker to inherit from his work. Even the cafe and bistro scenes of France, Italy and Spain have a
